The Steelers dropped the Browns like a bad habit and with that came the end of their losing streak.

Sack Leader

It was a sack party for the Steelers in Cleveland on Sunday. The defense knocked down Browns quarterbacks Cody Kessler and Josh McCown a combined eight times. One of those times belonged to 38-year-old James Harrison.

With that sack Harrison passed Jason Gildon to officially become the all-time sack leader for Pittsburgh. Bob Labriola also named Harrison the Digest Player of the Week. Deebo is the Sack King in Pittsburgh and all is right with the world.

I have a fever

The offensive game plan called for a heavy dose of Le’Veon Bell and Bell delivered. He carried the ball 28 times for a total of 146 yards on the ground with a rushing touchdown. Bell also added 55 receiving yards on eight receptions.

As a result of the heavy workload for Bell Pittsburgh dominated the time of possession and outgained Cleveland in total offensive yards 313 to 209. Ben Roethlisberger made his way up in the history books again this week by passing Hall of Famer Fran Tarkenton for 12th place on the all-time completions list.

You wanna see aggressive?

Mike Tomlin was on the hot seat this week for being in the midst of a four-game losing streak and talks of talk of discipline and accountability surrounding the team. He met that criticism by employing a conservative-yet aggressive plan of giving the ball to Le’Veon Bell all day.

As PAT’s were missed in record numbers all over the league on Sunday Tomlin showed his unwavering devotion to the two-point conversion. At the end of the first half the Browns gifted Pittsburgh with back-to-back untimed downs due to penalties and Tomlin went for the endzone both times.
