Well as luck would have it, some of the biggest names in the NFL are looking to unload some property. If extravagance, coming at a hefty price tag, is the market you are in, look no further. If you’re curious what a back yard football field with regulation sized goal posts at each end might run you, the answer is only three million. You can see all of the places here or I’m happy to take you on a quick tour.
Could someone tell me what a ‘wine porch’ is and why a 260 pound defensive end would need one in his house? DeMarcus Ware is selling his Dallas home for a cool two million. Nestled in a gated community, presumably to keep all the rif raf from mobbing his lawn after they fail to make the playoffs… again…, the house features four living areas and ‘numerous bonus rooms’. I guess those are the rooms that were poorly designed and actually serve no purpose.
Kurt Warner is selling his place in Phoenix. The former grocery bagger is asking five million dollars. Features include a guest house with a seperate entrance, wink wink, no need to explain who is coming and going. He also had a piano room, which I can only imagine was a room with a piano, and a spa. Yes, Mr. Warner had a spa in his home. That completely explains his wife’s transformation from Super Bowl 34 to 43. Seriously, different person.
Tom Brady has been trying to unload his ten million dollar pad in Boston for three years, presumably so he can *hmph* pay for his 20 million dollar new gargantuan home in California. Seriously, can he not afford both? The missus seems to bring home a nice paycheck. The Boston apartment is listed with three plus bedrooms. Does that mean there is a really big closet they are trying to pass off as the fourth? There is a state of the art gym and a luxurious kitchen. I would also imagine the doorways are pretty wide to make room for Tom’s head to pass through.
And finally, Troy Aikman is asking twenty four, yes that 2-4, million for his home in Dallas. But hold on a minute, for that money you get an actual creek running through your property, huge, HUGE selling point, am I right? There is also something called an ‘outdoor living center’. Is that code for a wicker patio set and some strategically placed shubbery?
Bottom line, if you’re sitting on a pile of dough, you’ve got some nice options to consider.
