Steelers vs. Browns: Steelers End Year With A Bang?

facebooktwitterreddit

The Steelers face the Browns for the regular season finale on Sunday.  And though while this game gets me as excited as I would be for Mack truck to roll over my head, the team has a chance to audition the younger players and play with a little fire to show Steeler Nation that they will not go quietly before the end of 2012.  That will be pretty exciting to watch.

We’ve seen the younger guys float in and out all season long, and I must admit I always liked seeing some of these guys out there over the preferred starter.  Now, the Browns are about as banged up as the Steelers were weeks ago when Big Ben and Byron Leftwich were both out with injuries.  The Browns announced that Thaddeus Lewis will be starting for the Browns.  He was added to the roster this week.  Star rookie running back Trent Richardson is also out.

Normally this would spell disaster for the Browns or any team facing the Steelers.  2012 is a different story.  The defense will still need to dominate, and the offense will need to get out of this first half stumble if they want to get over 10 points and beat the Browns.  But will it happen?
