FanSided NFL Editor’s Mock Draft On National Football Post
Arthur Brown had very good junior and senior years at Kansas State, and his pro day went very well. Will the Steelers bite?

Mock mock mock mock mock. Every week since January a new NFL mock draft has come out by someone somewhere, and every day since April there seems to be about ten more added to the pile. NPC’s own draft guru, Dom Di Tolla, has been busting out his own thoughts and insights on who the Steelers might take come Thursday evening and through the weekend.
FanSided took an opportunity with National Football Post to create a mock draft between the editors of all the NFL sites. Taking the current draft order, each editor went on the clock and would either select whom they thought would best suit their team or whom they thought the GM’s would take. No trades were involved since that would have made things a bit messy (and we only did the first round anyways).
The link to the post is here. Check it out. NFP’s own Russ Lande weighs in on each pick. I went with ILB Arthur Brown for my pick for the Steelers. And, Russ Lande was spot on about why – OLB is the biggest need but none fit the team at the time of #17, so the Steelers will boost the ILB position instead. They don’t bite on WR or S at the time either due to who’s still available who they can still get for the best value in the first round and then later rounds. It seems like a stretch, but I think Dom was fairly right when he selected Brown a few weeks ago in one of his mocks – the Steelers really like him and he had a great pro day.
