Really another OT?  Yes.  Again, with Adams’ injury and Whimper or Jack of All Trades Kelvin Beachum the only viable backups, the team needs to look at a lot of tackles.  The team has rookies to look at too, but they can be put on the practice squad for continued grooming if someone like Brown or former KC Chiefs and Houston Texan tackle Eric Winston have a good showing.  Winston is solid at the position, solid in the health department (playing 108 out of a potential 112 games, and the only games missed were as a rookie), and built for the zone blocking offense.  At 6′-7″ and 303lbs., Winston has a huge arm span that helps him engage blitzers from the outside and quick feet for a 29 year old.

Winston is a bit too pricey for a strap cashed team like the Steelers, but there’s a chance that he will come down to under the market value as the days creep closer and closer to training camp.  Too expensive still by that time?  Bring in Brown.  Afford them both?  Then bring in both.
