Bill Cowher to Join CBS Broadcast Booth to Call Steelers vs. Jets Game

I will admit that I was very surprised when I read Ed Bouchette’s following tweets earlier this afternoon:
As far as Bouchette’s tweets are concerned, I am extremely excited to see Bill Cowher making an appearance in the broadcast booth when Pittsburgh heads to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Jets in two weeks.
Moreover, I am interested to hear what Pittsburgh’s long-time head coach has to say regarding the 0-4 Steelers, especially if they struggle mightily during their game against the Jets and happen to drop to 0-5 when it ends.
While I’m positive that Cowher will act in a professional manner, I’m sure it will be somewhat difficult for him to watch his former team continue to perform as poorly as they have during the last couple of seasons.
Who knows though?
Maybe Cowher will bring the Steelers some much needed luck against New York.
I do however know that “Chinny’s” presence in the booth should hopefully drown out the “douche-tasticness” of Nantz and Simms, and he will also make the game much more watchable with the volume on as well.
