Updated Injury Report: DeCastro and Woodley Say They Will Start, Beachum Doubtful

As troublesome as their injury report looked earlier in the week, a glimmer of hope could be on the horizon for the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend when they take on the Miami Dolphins.
According to Mike Prisuta of Steelers.com, right guard David DeCastro (foot sprain) and starting left outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley (calf) said that they would start in Pittsburgh’s upcoming game against the Miami.
The presence of DeCastro would provide a huge boost to Pittsburgh’s already makeshift offensive line. Cody Wallace will be receiving the start in Fernando Velasco’s place at center, and Mike Adams (ankle, probable) is all prepared to start in Kelvin Beachum’s (knee sprain, doubtful) place at left tackle.
On the other hand, I could care less if Woodley suits up on Sunday afternoon. He has looked nothing short of pathetic in recent seasons when he has tried to rush back from injuries, and inserting him into the lineup would force Jason Worilds to shift back to his less natural position at right outside linebacker.
Thoughts on Woodley aside, I will say that it is nice to see that Le’Veon Bell has been a full participant in Pittsburgh’s practices the last three days. Bell enjoyed what was probably his best game (136 total yards and one touchdown) last Thursday against the Baltimore Ravens, and one has to believe that he will continue to see plenty of touches down the stretch.
