Field Trip
The Steelers have a tradition of sending the rookie class to visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. The team sent the rookie class, along with some members of the defensive line, to the Hall on Friday. While there the rookies were able to check out the busts of the 22 Steelers who are Hall of Fame members. History.

Big Steve
Steelers NT Steve McLendon knows, like the rest of us, that he’s never going to be the next Casey Hampton. But, as ESPN’s Scott Brown explains, McLendon recognizes that while he needs to be focusing on being the best Steve McLendon he can be instead of trying to measure up to Big Snack, putting on some more meat on his bones certainly won’t hurt. McLendon has put on 20 pounds this offseason in an attempt to fit the role of the big nose tackle that is so vital to the success of a 3-4 defense.
"“I can’t be down there at 310 (pounds), trying to play a spot where guys are 330-plus. I need to be heavy just like them and be able to move faster and quicker than them.” – Steve McLendon"
He’s still got it
There’s no doubt that
keeps himself in insane physical condition no matter what his job title of the moment is.
