Steelers versus Panthers: Time, Live Stream, TV, Radio

The Pittsburgh Steelers look to right the ship a little after a rather embarrassing loss to the Baltimore Ravens last Thursday night.  They travel to the Charlotte to face the Carolina Panthers in what should be a rather interesting matchup. The NFL is swarming with controversies from Ray Rice to Adrian Peterson.  Carolina Panthers defensive end and fifth year veteran Greg Hardy has been convicted of two counts of domestic violence and up until yesterday was expected to play.  The recent fad of placing higher profile players on the Commissioner’s Exempt list (sorry Jonathan Dwyer) has potentially changed Hardy’s status.  Public pressure continues to rise as each and every new case of violence becomes revealed.  According to ESPN on Friday, the Panthers might be considering placing Hardy on that special list in which he would not be allowed to participate in Panthers activities but still get paid.  Hey who doesn’t love a little PTO right?  Hardy may or may not be a distraction to the team, but hey, we saw how well the Steelers took advantage of a potentially distracted Ravens team… The Steelers faced the Panthers already in 2014 during the preseason in the final game before the regular season.  It was a vanilla game to say the least and the Panthers won 10-0.  It’s not like the play calling or execution has improved much since then, but DLB’s defense will have a hard time containing Cam Newton, and the offense will try to overcome not having scored a touchdown since the first half of Week 1.
