Tampa Bay running game
Mark Kaboly of the Trib explains that while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are currently 21st in the league in rushing, that doesn’t mean they won’t be trying to run the ball against the Steelers today. They’re getting RB Doug Martin back into the lineup and they’ll be trying to run the ball to set up for the passing game, according to Kaboly. The Steelers could be vulnerable still seeing as how they were gashed for long runs against the Browns and Ravens already this season. Stopping the Tampa Bay running game will be vital for a Steelers victory.
Dri Archer anxious to return
Speaking of running games, the Pittsburgh Steelers running game certainly hasn’t been hurting with the absence of rookie Dri Archer while he was nursing an ankle injury. Nevertheless as Mike Prisuta points out, Archer will be rejoining the Steelers offense and special teams on Sunday and is anxious to get back into the swing of things. Steeler Nation is anxious too, anxiously awaiting waiting for him to explode with that speed we’ve been hearing so much about.
