AFC North Power Rankings: Week 10

What a week in the AFC North.  The Bengals and the Browns almost suffered horrible losses to the Jaguars and Buccaneers and the Steelers annihilated the Ravens.  That all leads to a big shake up in the rankings.  Check it out.

team. 26. For the second week in a row the Ravens played  just absolutely awful.  Therefore they make a monumental fall from the ceiling to the basement of the power rankings.  There whole team hasn’t played awful.  The run defense has been consistently amazing all year.  Their pass protection and pass defense, however, have been horrendous for most of the season.  Joe Flacco also hasn’t been great except for one game.  Unless they can improve upon their glaring issues their season could go from good to bad very quick.  I do still think they have an outside shot at making the playoffs as this is the toughest division in football.. 5-4. 53. I thought the Browns would be better this season than they have in a long time.  I didn’t think they would be this good though.  The defense figured to keep the offense afloat, but it really hasn’t played out that way.  The offense has been great for only having Ben Tate as their starting running back and a Jordan Cameron/Andrew Hawkins/Miles Austin duo as their top receivers.  Not to mention Brian Hoyer is the one under center.  The offensive line has been fantastic just as expected and they are essentially the ones keeping the offense afloat.. 5-3. 56. It finally looks as if my preseason prediction of a mediocre Bengals team is coming true.  Take out the first three games of the season against the Ravens, Falcons, and Titans and the Bengals are 2-2-1.  The two wins came against the Jaguars and a Ravens team that played awful.  They also needed pretty much the whole game to win both.  The rest of their schedule includes games against the Browns (twice), the Saints (in New Orleans), the Broncos, and the Steelers (twice).  I would not be surprised at all if the Bengals end up at .500 or worse on the season.  Thankfully it looks like the Bengals of a few years ago are back.. 5-2-1. Previous: 3rd. Cincinnati Bengals. 2. team

55. What. A. Game.  Back on top and it only took 9 weeks.  Other than the Patriots there is no team in the NFL playing better right now than your Pittsburgh Steelers.  Big Ben is playing absolutely out of his mind and is in very serious contention for the MVP or OPOY.  Martavis Bryant has 5 touchdowns in three games.  The offensive line has played great the past two weeks other than one drive on Sunday night.  Oh and I almost forgot, Antonio Brown is the best wide receiver in the NFL right now.  You also can’t forget how James Harrison is playing at the age of THIRTY-SIX.  Last but not least how about a hand for the secondary.  The trio of  William Gay, Brice McCain, and Antwon Blake is playing very admirably.  Mike Mitchell is even starting to make tackles and not blow coverages.  If this play continues the Steelers should easily reach at least 11-5, take the division title, and have a chance at returning to another Super Bowl.. 6-3.
