"A classic trap-game presented itself and the Steelers fell right into it. This team simply does not have the defensive personnel to compete among the league’s elite.  –Dan Schneier (FoxSports, Ranked #19)"

Again, I think 19 is harsh. I also think the defense settled in and played ok. Too bad our cornerbacks can’t seem to catch easy interceptions. Again, a game full of miscues and missed opportunities.

"I managed to pull a solid GPA in college because when I forced myself to focus, the good grades followed. I also could have had a better GPA if I hadn’t, you know, opted to sleep in or grab a drink rather than study. This is sort of where the Steelers are at. When they lock in, like against Indianapolis and Baltimore, they’re scary. But then they skip a game against the Jets to play Mario Kart and the picture shifts.  –Chris Burke (SI.com, Ranked #13)"

I think that about says it all.

Big stage on Monday night, let’s hope for a Steeler win and getting into the bye then getting some defensive players back from injury. The Steelers can get their heads right for a run at the playoffs.

Bring it Steeler Nation!
