Bad day to be a Manning

On most days, it’s way better to be Peyton than Eli, but on Sunday it wasn’t great to be either of them as both Manning brothers lost and accounted for seven interceptions. Peyton Manning threw two interceptions in a surprising 22-7 loss to the St. Louis Rams. The Broncos offense that typically lights up the scoreboard only managed one trip to the endzone and failed on two fourth downs deep in St. Louis territory.

Not to be outdone by his older brother, Eli Manning tossed five interceptions of his own in a 16-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The fact that the Giants still had a chance late in the game only down by six points shows just how awful the 49ers offense performed as they were unable to capitalize on the multitude of times Eli literally handed them the ball.
