Jonas Gray blows out Colts

It’s already been established how dumb the Colts were last season for trading away a first-round draft pick for the services of one Trent Richardson who came to Indy only to prove that one thing he does not excel at is running the football. It always makes it look a little worse each time a player of a “lesser pedigree” just completely out does the Colts and all of their running backs. The New England Patriots last night blew out the Colts 42-20 behind the four touchdowns and 199 rushing yards by Jonas Gray, who was signed as a street free agent this year. The Patriots out rushed the Colts a whopping 244-19 yards. The Colts have now lost tiebreaker head-to-head games against both Denver and New England, making their road to the later rounds of the playoffs that much more difficult. Which means they’ll hope, like every other AFC team who wants to make the playoffs and knows it won’t be a 1 or 2 seed; they’ll hope to play the Bengals in the first round so they’ll know they can win for sure.
