Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New Orleans Saints: Final Injury Report

Here is the final Pittsburgh Steelers injury report for their Week 13 game against the New Orleans Saints.

The Steelers bye week came just in time, as a few starters will return to the Steelers defensive line-up against the dangerous Saints offense.  Ike Taylor will play after missing eight games due to a forearm injury and Troy Polamalu (knee) will be back on the field for the first time in two games.

Ryan Shazier (ankle) was listed on the injury as questionable. He will not play for the third straight game.  Nose tackle Steve McLendon will remain out with his shoulder injury.  Cortez Allen was ruled out earlier in the week with a thumb injury.

Right tackle Marcus Gilbert did not practice Thursday and Friday after colliding with Ramon Foster in a practice drill on Wednesday.  Gilbert will not play today after being listed on the injury report as questionable with an ankle injury.  Mike Adams will likely start in Gilbert’s spot.

As for the Saints, four of their running backs appeared on the injury report this week.  Mark Ingram (shoulder), Pierre Thomas (rib/shoulder), and Travaris Cadet (hamstring) were all listed as probable.  Those three will play today but Khiry Robinson (forearm) has been ruled out.

Robert Meachum (ankle) will not play after being limited in practice all week.  Inside linebacker Kyle Knox is out with a hand injury.

Other inactive Saints include OTNick Becton, DB Terrence Frederick, NT Lawrence Virgil, and DB Stanley Jean-Baptiste.
