Ugh. Again. The Black and Gold missed a golden opportunity to separate themselves in the AFC North. Unfortunately, it was against a bad team at Heinz Field and the game was so bad fans started going for the exits late in the third quarter. The only saving grace about this loss is it was against the Saints, a non conference game. Coupled with losses by Baltimore and Cleveland, the Steelers are two games back of the Bengals with two games remaining against them. If they win at least three of their last four including the two against the Bengals, the Steelers will be in pretty good shape. Here are the Pittsburgh Steelers Week 12 winners and losers:

Winners

Le’Veon Bell

The lone bright spot of consistency, racking up 254 yards from scrimmage yesterday. Some was in garbage time, but Le’Veon averaged 4.5 yards per carry and had 8 catches. If not for him, I think the score would have been 35-6.

Steelers Offensive Line

The line blocked well for Le’Veon, and allowed only one sack. Even Mike Adams had an ok game, but expectations around him are so low the fact that Roethlisberger is still upright is a blessing.

Shaun Suisham

Apart from the bad snap, Suisham hit three out of four yesterday, two of them from near 50 in swirling winds. His kickoff strength was good as well, kicking into the endzone even against the wind.
