Congratulations to the Cincinnati Bengals for breaking an NFL record. They are the first team in NFL history to lose four consecutive opening-round playoff games. Andy Dalton gets to tie Warren Moon for the most consecutive opening-round playoff losses by a quarterback. Marvin Lewis increases his playoff loss streak to six games. The last time Cincinnati won a playoff game, Dalton was 3 years old.
Andrew Luck, who went 31-44 for 376 yards, will have a chance to show he can take his playoff talents on the road when the Colts travel to Denver next week to take on Peyton Manning and the Broncos. Man, this is certainly the matchup the TV execs wanted to see huh? At least with the Colts headed to Denver next week instead of the Steelers we will be spared the replays of Tebow’s 80-yard OT touchdown throw. That’s something, right?
