They may call Cam Newton “Superman”, or I think he just calls himself that mostly, but Kam Chancellor, strong safety for the Seattle Seahawks, is fine being known as the Dark Knight. In the Seahawks’ 31-17 dominating victory over the Panthers on Saturday night, Chancellor made play after play including a 90-yard interception returned for a touchdown.
The Seattle Seahawks never trailed in the game and the Panthers looked every bit as the only team in the playoffs to have a losing record for the regular season while Russell Wilson threw for three touchdown passes. The Seahawks will host Green Bay in the NFC Championship next weekend, becoming the first defending Super Bowl champion to win a playoff game in the following season since New England did it in 2006.
