With five minutes left in the NFC Championship the Green Bay Packers had a 12-point lead and the ball. Things went horribly wrong for the Packers from there on out. From allowing a touchdown on a fake field goal attempt to giving up an onside kick the Packers allowed the Seahawks to come back and take the lead. The Packers were able to tie the game at 22-22 to force overtime where the Seahawks won the toss.
Russell Wilson threw six times to Jermaine Kearse. Four of those passes were intercepted and the fifth was incomplete. The sixth pass clinched a return trip to the Super Bowl for Kearse, Wilson and the Seahawks. Some of the most exciting minutes of football I’ve ever seen but seriously, the Seahawks owe me a nap for those first three quarters at least. Now the Seahawks are trying to play the role as underdog as if they weren’t picked to repeat as champions from beginning of the season.
