Steelers MMQB: NFL Conference Championship Weekend

Great, they won again

It was almost too much to ask, I suppose. Too much to expect Andrew Luck and the Colts to go into New England for the AFC Championship game and not completely get their asses handed to them. Tom Brady had his way with the Colts defense and LeGarrette Blount disgustingly “did his job” to the tune of 148 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns. Also the NFL is reportedly “investigating” the Patriots for the use of deflated balls in the game. A deflated ball makes for an easier throw and catch, particularly in bad weather conditions. Don’t know how much deflated balls played a role in the 45-7 thumping the Pats gave the Colts but we all know how well NFL “investigations” turn out so don’t expect too much to be made of this by the league.
I guess this doesn’t count if you’re wearing a Steelers uniform, does it?
A Patriots and Seahawks Super Bowl with a Katy Perry hafltime show. Sounds like a good day to clean out the garage. The only thing that might spark the interest now is to see how creative Pete Carroll and Bill Belichick can get with their cheating. Belichick might have met his doing whatever it takes to gain a competitive advantage match in this one.
