The NFL’s most recent scandal in a year of scandals has reached the ultimate ridiculous level. Friday, the league announced that they will have an extensive investigation headed by Ted Wells, who authored the Wells Report (about the bullying scandal in the Miami Dolphins locker room a few years ago) and won’t be anywhere near done before the Super Bowl.

Then, Bill Belichick thought it important to have another press conference on Saturday afternoon where he basically said that the team has decided upon themselves that there was no wrong-doing and everything is fine. Belichick is confident that nothing from the NFL is going to come down anytime soon considering how awful the NFL made themselves look when dealing with their last scandal.

Outspoken Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman showed up at the Pro Bowl last night to give his two cents on the whole situation and it’s a sad day when he makes the most sense.

"“Will they be punished? Probably not. Not as long as Robert Kraft and Roger Goodell are still taking picture at their respective homes. You talk about a conflict of interest. As long as that happens, it won’t affect them at all. Nothing will stop them. Their resume speaks for itself. You talk about getting close to the line, this and that. I don’t really have a comment about that. Their past is what their past is. Their present is what their present is.” – Richard Sherman"
