You don’t know Josh Gordon

Embattled Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon wrote an open letter to “his critics” days following the announcement of his latest positive drug test which will most likely result in a one-year suspension from the league. Gordon reminded people like Charles Barkley, Stephen A. Smith, and Cris Carter that while their “hot takes” on him and his substance abuse problems may help insert them into his story, they are not, in fact part of his story.

They’re not a part of his story mainly because they don’t know him. None of the men who proclaim loudly on sports talk airwaves how badly Gordon needs our help and how troubled he is have actually had a direct conversation with him. Gordon explained himself and that in spite of what those have said about him, he’s mainly let himself down with the choices he’s made. Read for yourself and then draw a conclusion before some hot-take jackass proclaims they know what’s best for a man they know nothing about.
