Not so fast. There are conflicting reports about the future of Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson. Jason Cole of Bleacher Report says that he’s been informed of Peterson’s desire to play for the Dallas Cowboys. However, Minnesota not only disputes that claim, there’s not a very realistic likelihood that could or would happen any time soon.
Vikings GM Rick Spielman has already come out in support of having Peterson back in 2015. Peterson is still under contract and a trade would be a difficult situation to work out money-wise for the Vikings, even if they wanted to do it, which they reportedly don’t.
