2015 Steelers NFL Mock Draft: 7 Rounds v6.0

1 of 8

The Steelers will soon be on the clock and the 2015 NFL Draft is set to occur in almost two months. I for one could not be more excited.

With the big event in mind, I will publish numerous Pittsburgh Steelers-themed 2015 NFL Mock Drafts on this site until April 30th.

(For previous installments, click here: V1.0, V2.0, V3.0, V4.0, V5.0)

I will provide a prospect analysis on each of Pittsburgh’s projected selections in each installment. Furthermore, I discuss in detail why each player could be a potential fit with the franchise.

The Steelers need to address several positional needs, none bigger than cornerback. Will they break away from “tradition” and select a corner in the first round (something they haven’t done since 1997)?

The team also needs to try and add depth to TE, RB, OLB, DT/DE, as well as more secondary and wide receivers. But, they can’t grab them all in just seven rounds and expect each one to pan out.

Let’s get into it and see where the mock goes.

Next: Round 1
