DeMarco Murray was another big winner in NFL free agency so far after signing a five-year, $42 million contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys gambled by letting the NFL’s rushing leader hit the free agent market and not being able to lock him down before he could take what seemed like the longest trip to Philadelphia anyone has ever taken.
So DeMarco Murray is flying to Philadelphia, C.J. Spiller is flying to New Orleans and RBs are going to start flying off the board.

He must have walked there. The announcement of the signing didn’t come out till late Thursday evening and was quite anticlimactic after all that buildup.
