The usual scenario is for the Oakland Raiders to draft players and then they become busts for one reason or another. This year, the Raiders are flipping the script by signing a bonafide proven epic bust when they signed running back Trent Richardson to a two-year contract worth up to $3.85 million.

Richardson, a former No. 3 overall draft pick was traded from Cleveland to Indianapolis for a half a bag of Skittles and coupon for free dry cleaning. In Indianapolis, Richardson made sure to not mess up his under 3.5 yards per carry average and was even benched during the playoffs. The Raiders not only signed Richardson to a two-year deal, they also gave him a $600K signing bonus, just to show him they’re serious.
