Steelers: Most Intriguing 2015 UFDA Signings

Miles Dieffenbach, Penn State, 6’3″, 303 pounds
Dieffenbach is a home town product and played at Fox Chapel Area High School. His bio on the Penn State site calls
him a leader in the locker room and lists him as an integral part of the Penn State offensive line success.
His pre-draft write up on NFL.com notes that he is coming off of missing most of the 2014 season due to an ACL tear suffered during practice.
This injury is concerning, as it would be for anyone. He had a pro-day but most assessment is from his 2013 season. While this might also be a sentimental pick, the Steelers had to see some pre-injury potential as well as post-injury results to sign him.
Dieffenbach is listed as a Guard and is the only one among these four to not have time at center in college.
