The Dallas Cowboys were the lone team to take a flier on defensive end Greg Hardy, who sat out most of last season while he could pay off his victim of domestic violence in North Carolina so she wouldn’t testify and he could get his charges dropped. The NFL in turn still suspended him for the first 10 games of the 2015 season.

Per NFL Media’s Albert Breer, the appeal for Hardy’s suspension has concluded already. The appeal was heard by arbitrator Harold Henderson and not Roger Goodell. There is no word yet on if Hardy’s suspension was reduced. The Cowboys built in some protection in Hardy’s contract that would limit his per-game roster bonuses for games he’s suspended for.
