Tom Brady gets his sit down with Roger Goodell over his four-game suspension on June 23rd, according to NFL Media’s Albert Breer. The NFLPA requested that Goodell recuse himself as arbitrator in the appeal but Goodell said, “Um…better not.”

Brady has been splitting reps in OTAs with Jimmy Garoppolo in preparation for however long his suspension will actually last. Patriots owner Robert Kraft had a nice bro hug with Goodell and decided to accept the penalties Goodell levied against the franchise in the wake of the Ted Wells report which included a $1 million fine and the loss of a 2016 first-round draft pick and a 2017.

Goodell claims his good buddy Kraft’s acceptance of those penalties without a fight will have no bearing on the outcome of Brady’s appeal. I’m thinking that Goodell comes out of this appeal citing Brady provided him with information previously not seen and kicks it down to two games.
