The NFL is about to go on summer vacation. There are just a few days of minicamps this week before teams will break until the end of July when they’ll report to training camp. If you know anything about the NFL you know how much can happen between then and now.
We have the last week of OTAs to wrap up, the week of mandatory minicamps to preview, and we can predict how many players will be arrested from now until training camp starts, just for funzies. Here’s hoping Colt’s owner Jim Irsay has learned to not drive around impaired with a crap ton of pills and cash in his car, right?
The players currently having contract disputes with their teams are going to heat up within the next few weeks. It will be put up or shut up time for them. Are they willing to sit time out and miss out on money they were supposed to get but weren’t happy with the amount? Are they willing to stay strong in the hopes that their team thinks their valuable enough to cave and make a deal last minute.
