Steelers Antonio Brown Gets Tip Of The Cap From Megatron
Steelers wide receiver phenom Antonio Brown is arguably one of the best wide receivers in the NFL today. In fact, you could argue that he is the unequivocally best.
Brown showed that he had a special talent back in 2012 when as the #2 receiver on the offense nabbed over 1,000 yards receiving and collected over 1,000 yards in the return game. It’s something that no other player has done in the history of the game.
He followed that up with a very solid season as the #1 receiver, and then began turning the nob to 11 in 2014. Brown had the most receiving yards with 1,698, the most receptions with 129, and tied for second in touchdown receptions.
Brown entered the conversation as best NFL receiver early on in 2014 and began being mentioned in the same breath as Dez Bryant, Jordy Nelson, and Calvin Johnson.
There’s no doubt that Steelers fans love AB. Turns out that many fans around the league respect Brown’s achievements when a recent pole was conducted on NFL Total Access on the NFL Network.
As you can see, it appears that Calvin Johnson has no qualms with the results as well.
That’s quite the tip of the cap coming from Megatron, who has been considered one of the most feared receivers over the last five years – especially in 2012 when he almost breached the 2,000 yard mark in receiving yards.
AB nabbed 54% of the vote in a fill in the blank question. That’s saying something. That’s respect.
Johnson is a fan of Antonio Brown. I’ll take that.
I wonder if he voted….
