Sheldon Richardson doesn’t get it

Two weeks ago Jets Pro Bowl defensive end Sheldon Richardson was suspended for the first four games of the season for violating the NFL’s policy on substance abuse. Last week Richardson was arrested for various traffic violations including charges for drug possession for speeding down the road at 143 mph with a 12-year-old in the back seat of the car.

New York Jets coach Todd Bowles told the media when Jets camp opened this weekend that he has “no idea” if Sheldon will end up playing any regular season games for the Jets this season. Jet’s general manager Mike Maccagnan also added that the team has lost their trust in the third-year defensive end.

"“There is a degree of trust that has been broken, but we are supportive of him. … We’re doing everything in our powers to help him not just as a football player develop, but as a man making sure he does right things off the field.” – Mike Maccagnan"

The Jets are preparing to play without Richardson after the fact that Richardson didn’t even notify the Jets organization about the arrest, they found out on Twitter just like everyone else; proving that Richardson is an all-around idiot.
