Russell Wilson couldn’t get the ball in the endzone from the three yard line with the Super Bowl on the line just six months ago but now he’s got enough money to get anything he wants delivered from wherever he is. The Seahawks and Wilson agreed on a four-year, $87.6 million contract extension that includes $61.53 million in guaranteed money.

The extension makes the former Super Bowl winning quarterback one of the highest paid players in the NFL. Marc Sessler had Wilson’s thoughts on signing the mega deal that looked at times like it might not get done before the 2015 regular season kicked off.

"“My focus the whole time has pretty much been on getting ready for the season. You know, I’ve been excited about that, just to play football again. Ultimately, no matter how much I make, down the road or in the past, or whatever, it’s always been about the game and trying to get ready.” – Russell Wilson"
