Steelers at Jaguars: Preseason TV schedule, radio, live stream
By Kim Myers
The Pittsburgh Steelers are in Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars in a preseason matchup that will feature the Steelers starters for the first series or two. Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell, Antonio Brown and even James Harrison are all slated to suit up and get some game action against the Jags.
The Steelers are coming off of 14-3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in the Hall of Fame game and will be in search of their first preseason victory. The majority of the starters sat out last week’s game but per Mike Tomlin, the healthy men will play tonight in Jacksonville.
The Steelers faced the Jaguars last season in Jacksonville, beating them 17-9 in a game where the Steelers defense didn’t allow a Jaguars touchdown. Then-Steelers cornerback Brice McCain returned an interception 22 yards for a touchdown a week after the team was embarrassed at home by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Steeler Nation are definitely anxious to see the Steelers offensive starters return to the field and possibly more anxious to see the new-look defense take shape as well. The Steelers will also have newly-signed kicker Garrett Hartley on the field for the first time, hopefully not attempting any tackles.
The game is not nationally televised but here’s some info on where you can catch the action:
