Steelers vs. Packers: Preseason TV schedule, radio, live stream

Your Pittsburgh Steelers will return to Heinz Field for their third preseason game to take on the Green Bay Packers. They’re winless in preseason so far dropping games to the Vikings and Jaguars.

The starters saw action for the first time last week against the Jaguars and Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said on Friday that the starters will see even more game action on Sunday against Green Bay.

"“From a play-time standpoint we are going to take the same approach we took a week ago in that all the healthy guys are scheduled to play. We are going to look to play the first wave of guys more than we did a week ago, the extant of that is not a cookie cutter discussion, and it really depends on who you are talking about and the position that they play. Sometimes it’s just based on things that we want to see from individuals, and sometimes it’s about the relative depth of a position.” – Mike Tomlin"

Tomlin also listed the players who will not be suiting up for the game at all, for various ailments.

"“Some guys that we can characterize as out at this point in terms of lack of participation this week: Lawrence Timmons, I am not overly alarmed with his turf toe but he hadn’t practiced all week. We will exercise some caution. Josh Harris hasn’t practiced this week. We won’t anticipate him working. David Nelson is out also. Vince Williams is really starting to get close with his hamstring but probably not close enough to participate. And C.J. Goodwin hasn’t worked a lot this week and we shouldn’t expect him to perform in the game.” – Mike Tomlin"
