Aug 12, 2015; New York, NY, USA; NFL commissioner Roger Goodell enters federal court for a hearing over the legality of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady
What we learned in the final week of the NFL preseason:
- Tom Brady gets epic win over Goodell and NFL
- Washington Redskins mess on and off field
- Roster cuts around the league
- Steelers roster moves
- Preparing for New England
The NFL preseason is finally over. NFL teams have trimmed their rosters and built their practice squad to prepare for the kickoff of the regular season. Sunday was the last Sunday we’ll be without NFL football until Valentine’s Day, 2016. Let that sink in for a moment. Feels great.
As expected, this wasn’t some quiet week in the league with just the final preseason games played without starters playing and non-surprising roster moves made at the deadline. The NFL is quickly becoming quite the soap opera.
