Steelers vs. Ravens: TV schedule, radio, live stream
By Kim Myers
The Pittsburgh Steelers are back at home for a Thursday matchup of their divisional foes, the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens are still looking for their first win of the year while the Steelers are recovering from the loss of Ben Roethlisberger to a knee injury sustained in their win over the Rams last week.
Both teams are coming off of a short week and it’s always good to get these stupid Thursday night games out of the way early. Unfortunately, this is the Steelers’ second Thursday-night game of the year as they opened the season against the Patriots on a Thursday night.
Thursday night games are the worst. Any night games are the worst, actually. This is what adulthood is, if you’re wondering. Living on the east coast and opening fearing your team having to play later than 8:00 because you don’t want to have to go to bed passed 11:00. Soak up the late nights while you can, kids.
Anywhoo, the Steelers are starting Mike Vick and hoping that the talented offense including Le’Veon Bell, Antonio Brown, Heath Miller, Markus Wheaton and Darrius Heyward-Bey can keep the offense at least near the track they were on with Ben Roethlisberger.
The Steelers defense will have to grow up in a hurry in the mean-time and thankfully all the offensive fire power they have to worry about this week is Joe Flacco and his dinosaur wide receiver, Steve Smith.
The Steelers know that even though the crappy Ravens haven’t mustered a single win yet this season it’s still a rivalry game and it’s still going to be a battle won or lost in the trenches.
Time to get the first division win of the Steelers season!
