Le’Veon Bell of the Pittsburgh Steelers is one of the most remarkable athletes in the NFL today and he’s just getting started. In 31 career games Bell already has rushed for 18 touchdowns and over 2400 yards. He’s also maybe the best dual threat running back in football, as last year he caught 83 passes for 854 yards.
With Bell in the lineup the Steelers are a threat to beat any team any given week. As unstoppable as Bell looks on the field, making it this far was never a guarantee.
With the First Pick
Several times in his career off-field incidents have threatened to derail one of the game’s most promising talents. Last year’s arrest along with LeGarrette Blount for marijuana possession was only one of several tribulations that Bell has had to overcome.
This week ESPN continued their E:60 series and featured Bell’s incredible story, including a mother absolutely determined to do everything for her son. Watch:
Pretty inspiring stuff.
