The Pittsburgh Steelers fell short in a shootout with the Seattle Seahawks yesterday, but these three players stood out Sunday with their excellent performances and earned A grades.

1. Markus Wheaton: A+

With Antonio Brown being blanketed by Richard Sherman and Martavis Bryant limited as well, the Steelers desperately needed another wide receiver to step up, and Markus Wheaton responded by playing the best game of his young career.

Wheaton caught nine of the 13 passes that were thrown his way and turned them into 202 yards, including one catch that went 69 yards for a touchdown.

Pro Football Focus gave him a +4.4 rating for the game and six of Wheaton’s catches resulted in a first down. Even though Pittsburgh lost, they had the best player on the field in Wheaton without question.
