Steelers: All-Time Greats
By Jack Tolman
Tight End: Heath Miller (2005-Current)
No tight end really comes close to Heath Miller on the all-time Steelers list.
Heath Miller has been one of Roethlisberger’s most reliable targets, and ranks 2nd in Steeler history in receptions, 4th in touchdowns, and 4th in yards out of all the receivers in the franchise’s history.
Miller has been elected to the pro bowl twice, and has been such an instrumental part of the Steelers offense.
Above everything, Heath Miller is adored by fans, and they show it by chanting “HEEEAAATTTTHHH!” every time he makes a catch, something that’s become tradition. I think it’s given that you’ve got to be good and loved to start a tradition.
With Miller’s career coming to a close in the coming years, it’ll be very difficult to replace him, and the Steelers surely won’t have anyone like him for a very long time.
