Still Curtain NFL Week 15 Picks

The Still Curtain staff picks winners for each game on the NFL Week 15 schedule.

The NFL season is in its final stretch and we still don’t know what a catch is. It’s amazing, isn’t it? Apparently there’s going to be a committee to help the NFL refine the rule about what does and does not constitute a catch. Sounds fascinating.

With the playoff races heating up there’s one thing clear this NFL season and that’s that parity isn’t always the best thing. There will likely be two division winners in the playoffs with sub .500 records. That sounds like some pretty average football teams will go up against some pretty good football teams the first week of the playoffs. Who do you think will have the advantage?

The NFL week starts off with another Nike “color rush” game this time taking aim at the Tampa Buccaneers and St. Louis Rams. It’s going to look a lot like ketchup and mustard smeared all over the football field. Cam Newton and the Panthers are looking to continue their undefeated season against the New York Giants.

The Dallas Cowboys could do the Steelers a solid and take out the Jets for us to make the last few weeks a little less stressful but that might be asking too much of these Cowboys. Elsewhere the Minnesota Vikings will look to rebound from last week’s loss to Arizona when they face division-rival Chicago.

The Steelers will face their third-straight division leader when the Denver Broncos come to Pittsburgh for the final home game of the season. The 10-3 Broncos are starting Brock Osweiler instead of Peyton Manning but it’s the top-ranked Denver defense that the Steelers are most concerned with.

Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers offense are putting up over 400 yards of offense per game but they’ll certainly be tested against a Broncos defense that is only allowing an average of 272.5 yards per game.

Last week Justin took home the victory and he and Zack are in striking distance of Remy, who still owns the overall lead in picks.
