Digest Player of the Week
It comes as no surprise but Bob Labriola tells us that Ben Roethlisberger was named Steelers Digest Player of the Week after his 40-of-55 for 380 yards, three touchdown and two interception performance in the 34-27 win over the Broncos on Sunday.

His three touchdown passes all came in the second half as the Steelers erased a 17-point halftime deficit. After throwing what could have been a costly interception late in the fourth quarter he threw the 8-yard pass to
Antonio Brownwith 90 seconds remaining for a first down to secure the victory for the Steelers.
Peezy got to them
Was it something the Steelers defense drank during half time that had them come out and after allowing 27 points in the first half they shut out the Broncos offense? Nope, it was something they heard. From outside linebackers coach Joey Porter, in fact.

Overcoming adversity, obviously
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin credits the defense for overcoming the adversity of playing really crappy in the first half of the game to end up shutting the Broncos out in the second half of a 34-27 Steelers victory.
