It seems like everybody loves to make New Year’s resolutions to improve themselves. The Pittsburgh Steelers should consider making a few of their own for 2016.

While us mere mortals try to quit smoking or lose some weight, the Steelers have some loftier goals. In order to get there they’ll need to take care of at least these three resolutions.

1. Find a way to beat the Ravens

The most disturbing trend of 2015 for Pittsburgh may have been their inability to beat their most heated rivals, the Baltimore Ravens.

Back in January, the Ravens defeated the Steelers in the wild card round on their home field, 30-17. That should have given the Steelers plenty of motivation to crush them this season, but it didn’t work out that way. Baltimore won again in September thanks to an overtime field goal by Justin Tucker and last week they won again without having Joe Flacco, Justin Forsett, or Terrell Suggs available.

Overall the Steelers have now lost five of their last six games against the Ravens. Until that changes it’s going to be really tough to get anywhere in the AFC North.
