Steelers: Three grades for the passing game

Antonio Brown: B+

On second thought it’s pretty difficult to judge a quarterback for trying to squeeze as much juice out of Antonio Brown as he possibly can.

No matter what the Browns tried they could not slow Pittsburgh’s superstar, who beat more than a couple double teams easily. His once-in-a-generation combination of route running, speed, range, and elusiveness makes him a threat to score six points every time he touches the ball.

Brown only made one notable error: early on he made a brilliant cut to avoid a tackle but then fumbled. Just because he can make miraculous plays doesn’t necessarily mean he should try. He was surrounded by Browns and the YAC he might have gotten wasn’t worth the risk.

Still, this is only a tiny pimple on his record. Number 84 finished with 187 receiving yards.
