Steelers: Three grades for the passing game
By Tim Weaver
Darrius Heyward-Bey: B
One troubling trend of late for the Steelers offense has been the vasnishing act of Martavis Bryant. In four straight games he’s been held out of the endzone and he totally disappeared against both Baltimore and Cleveland.
Fortuantely, Pittsburgh is much deeper at wide receiver than the average NFL team, and a couple of other faces have stepped up.
This week it was Markus Wheaton and Darrius Heyward-Bey, who is becoming a legitimate home run threat. He only caught two passes the whole game, but they went for a total of 74 yards and one set the tone for the second half.

As long as the Steelers keep getting contributions from a variety of receivers and don’t rely too much on Brown they will be as dangerous as any team in the playoffs.
