The Steelers have won six of their last eight games to get into the postseason.  What I find incredibly telling is that the Bengals have not beat a single team with a winning record since November 1st, losing to the Texans, Cardinals, Steelers, and Broncos over a 9 game stretch.  Two of those games were with Dalton behind center.

Next: It all comes down to Ben Roethlisberger

While McCarron has played admirably, he simply isn’t playing at the level Dalton was before his injury.   McCarron has led the Bengals’ offense to an average score of 21.3 points per game, down nearly a touchdown from the 27.8 points they were averaging with Dalton.

This game could rest on the Steelers backup running backs, but I still think that Ben and the receiving corps do enough to put this game away.

Score: Steelers 28-Bengals 17
