Steelers News: Roethlisberger, Harrison, Bengals
By Kim Myers
The Steelers returned to Pittsburgh to empty their lockers following their 23-16 loss to the Broncos in the AFC Divisional Playoffs.
While the team prepares to wrap up the 2015 season we’ll be busy looking for mentions of your Black & Gold so we’ve got you covered. Here’s your Steelers Morning Huddle for Tuesday, Jan. 19th.

The Steelers really ride or die with
and this season was a pretty good example of that.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reminds us
of the up and down ride Ben Roethlisberger went on this season that included losing his starting center to injury, his starting running back and one of his staring wide receivers to suspension and missing games himself with various injuries.
Through it all he put on a show for Steelers fans. When he was good he was amazeballs good. When he was bad he was really head-scratching bad, throwing some awful interceptions in horrible spots. One thing that’s good to remember through it all is that the Steelers never got blown out of any game. Their biggest margin of defeat was the nine points the Seattle Seahawks beat them by in November.
He’s not ready to decide yet
All season long we were reminded of James Harrison’s age. We were reminded because it was hard to imagine a 37-year-old could do the things he was doing on and off the field this season. Teresa Varley says that while Harrison has one more year left on his contract he’s not sure yet if he’s ready to do this all again.
"“I am getting older. That is an understatement. It’s a lot harder on my body to recover and repair. The hardest thing for me is the offseason, the workouts, getting ready to prepare for the season. Once I get into the season that is the easy part.” – James Harrison"
Still Salty
You have to feel bad for a team that clearly doesn’t have as supportive of a fan-base as the Steelers that they take such joy in watching another team lose. NFL.com ran a story with a collection of tweets from several Bengals players delighting the fact that the Steelers were knocked out of the playoffs.
