The Steelers have a bright immediate future on offense. With Ben Roethlisberger playing the best football of his life and Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell carving their names into NFL record books the time is now to fortify this offense with the strength, depth and talent needed to sustain a long playoff run.

The offensive line is by far the most pivotal group of free agents for the offense. I tend to think that there might be a better chance of re-signing Kelvin Beachum than Ramon Foster because Foster would be more valuable on the open market to other teams while Beachum would have trouble getting offers because of his injury. I’d, however, prefer to see them both back.

I think this is the year we see more changes to the backup quarterbacks. I’m not sure if Landry Jones has made a case to be Ben’s backup but I do think that there are better options out there than Bruce Gradkowski and Michael Vick.

For the backs and receivers I feel like those two groups aside from quarterback are the groups I have the most confidence in, in spite of who is re-signed or who comes in.
