Steelers season never truly ends for Steeler Nation so while the offseason starts to heat up we’ll be busy looking for mentions of your Black & Gold so we’ve got you covered. Here’s your Steelers Morning Huddle for Wednesday, March 30th.

Still in his prime

Now that Peyton Manning has called it a career the old-ass quarterback club got a bit smaller. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger just barely fits into that club. At 34 he’s a few months older than San Diego Chargers’ quarterback Philip Rivers and New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning, who he was drafted with in 2004.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler describes how the Steelers intend on making the most of Roethlisberger in his prime by strengthening the offense around him. They’ve already put the pieces in place like Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell and reinforced those guys with players like Ladarius Green and Markus Wheaton.

Let’s hope Roethlisberger’s prime years are full of trophies and parades.

Surviving rumba

Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is dancing his way through the offseason while appearing on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.” On Monday night he survived the first round of eliminations and steamed up the TV screens dancing the rumba with his professional partner Sharna Burgess.

Brown is competing against fellow NFL player and current Super Bowl MVP Von Miller as well as former NFL player Doug Flutie for the mirror ball trophy.

Steelers Draft Order

Teresa Varley tells us that the Steelers’ draft order has been set for the 2016 NFL Draft which will be held on April 28-30 in Chicago, Illinois. The Steelers have seven picks in the draft, including two picks in the seventh round.

Next: Steelers not slowing down in free agency

The Steelers will pick 25th overall in the first round, 58th overall in the second round, 89th overall in the third round, 123rd overall in the fourth round, they don’t have a pick in the fifth round, 220th overall in the sixth round as a compensatory pick and in the seventh and final round the Steelers will have the 229th and 246th overall picks.
