Steelers season never truly ends for Steeler Nation. While the team starts to put the work in to prepare for the 2016 season we’ll be busy looking for mentions of your Black & Gold so we’ve got you covered. Here’s your Steelers Morning Huddle for Tuesday, May 3rd.

Excited to be back

The Steelers had quarterback challenges last season when Ben Roethlisberger was injured because veteran backup Bruce Gradkowski was already on Injured/Reserve after having hand surgery in preseason.

After rumors circulated about the Steelers’ interest in Brian Hoyer and him signing with the Chicago Bears following the draft the team brought back a healthy Gradkowski for a one-year deal as of Sunday night. Teresa Varley has Gradkowski’s comments about his feelings on returning to the Steelers.

"“It’s great to be back. I have been here the last three years, I see what we have going on. We are so close. We have the talent. It’s exciting. You feel it in the air. This is where I wanted to be. I didn’t want to be anywhere else. I just want to win a Super Bowl. I am excited to be back. There are a lot of good guys in the locker room, a great team. You want to stay around that. Anything I can do to help, I will do.” – Bruce Gradkowski"

He’s baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack

Like a fine wine that only gets better with age Steelers linebacker is better than ever just a couple of days shy of his 38th birthday. He took to social media on Monday to formally announce what we suspected all along, that he would return to play for the Steelers for the 2016 season.
